That doesn’t mean you are depressed. It really could be something physical. Not to say it isn’t mental either. But just by that one comment that doesn’t mean you are depressed. My husband feels no emotion and that is just since of the way he was raised. He isn’t depressed either.
I have been severely depressed with anxiety for..well since I can remember since 2 years ancient and I am 25 right now. After my experiences with medication…the only business medication does is supress your depression rather than getting rid of it. The best business for you to do if depression is what it is is to see a pscyhologist on a fixed basis, they can give you tips on things to do to over come this and get to the root of why you feel no emotion which will bring it out. You have to go in with an open mind and a willingness to talk about everything..and I mean everything. I know it works so much that I know I need it..I just can’t afford it yet. I can’t wait to do it though. excellent luck!
Depression is a trick of the mind. You have been tricked into believing your thoughts. You are NOT your thoughts. You are depressed since you have stepped into the illusion and nightmare your brain has dreamed up.
You just need to live in the Moment and stop judging everything. When you judge your world, judge yourself, judge this and that, you are always going to be in some pain. Start “observing” the world and observing your thoughts. Stop connecting your thoughts with your emotions.
Therapy has helped me before, sometimes I have taken meds and other times not… It can be such an uphill battle, if you fail natural methods such as therapy, exercise, etc, then don’t fret about trying medications. I myself am trying to beat it without medication right now and hoping it goes away. Very frustrating I know! Excellent luck to you!
First and foremost please consult a dr. But, find a dr who will work with you on finding a natural treatment.
Eliminate all refined and processed food. Eat lots of fresh vegetables, fruit, excellent complex carbs such as whole grain, protein (lean meat and fish if you aren’t a vegetarian or nuts, legumes and soy products if you are) Go lots of water. Exercise for at least 30 mins/day. Yoga and walking are brilliant to alleviate depression.
Food allergies and sensitivities can cause deficiencies that lead to depression. A nutritional consultant or holistic nutritionist can help you identify any culprits and urge any necessary supplements. You may need to try an elimination diet.
Sunshine and fresh air are a must. Remember the sun in moderation is a excellent business. Your body will metabolize some much needed vitamin D.
Wow. I’m really surprised at how many public believe that depression is all in your head. It’s certainly not.
I commend you for trying to take steps to do this naturally. I would urge taking at least 1000mg of EPA (its one of the Omega 3′s found in fish oils) per day. EPA plays a large part in brain health and mood support. Try also to get 1000IU of Vitamin D per day. Vitamin D is what helps your body synthesize seratonin, which is the “feel excellent” hormone. Make sure you are getting sufficient sleep – try to wake up naturally as often as possible.
Hang in there, and if things get too overwhelming, please seek a Naturopathic doctor or counselor. Your feelings are not weird and can certainly be helped. Excellent luck!
Alot of detemination, exercise, and at least try therapy.
Marijuana is a excellent natural way to go. Not trollin im being completely serious.

It depends on:
-the severity
-the circumstances in your life
-and what natural methods you are doing
Severe depression requires an anti depressant to assess the imbalance in your brain.
If it’s not severe there are natural things you can do-exercise, meditation, prayer, friends, to overcome it naturally.
I agree, marijuana.
