Exercise really helps. I work myself till I am just too tired to reckon of anything else. I go to a boot camp so it always helps when we get to punch the bags (I like that especially when I’m mad at the ex). Kind of scares the instructor I like it so much. LOL.
Nothing will make the feelings go away. Time is the only business that really makes it go away.
I ordinarily listen to composition or watch amusing videos on Youtube to keep my mind clear. But that’s only to ease the pain temporarily. It takes time to get over the one you loved. Just keep telling yourself that you are strong and can live without him.
