Natural supplements are one way to help the symptoms of depression. Amino acid supplements are essential elements that change the neurotransmitters and are a viable alternative to antidepressant drugs. The herbs St. Johns Wort and Ginkgo Biloba extract are know to alleviate anxiety, and help in sleeping disorders. Studies show that Ginkgo can be beneficial in cases of resistant depression that is not responsive to antidepressant agents and beginning to gain attention in the medical world.

Another approach to treating depression naturally is treating it through better nourishment. Better nourishment is not only beneficial in a person’s physical well being, but also for a person’s mental and emotional health. By modifying the intake of vitamins and minerals, and the addition of some supplements, the symptoms of depression often improves naturally
St. John’s Wort herbal supplements are among the leading medicines used to relieve the symptoms of mild to moderate depression. Studies show that public taking St. John’s Wort report an improvement in mood and ability to function in daily actions.

    Meditation may also be helpful.
    Excellent luck to you.

Well I as a depression victim would go back to my doctor and get a refill. If you don’t have health insurance, that is a oversize problem you really have to work on. If you have a 2 year ancient daughter and are uninsured we should be having another discussion.

Exercising can increase your serotonin, and can help keep you busy in the process which means you will probably reckon about your personal problems less. Keep busy with other things besides your daughter, your husband, and your household.

The problem is you can’t take another OTC pill that will help you, since there isn’t any pills that contain serotonin. The reason is that there is no way you can take a pill that will directly release serotonin directly into your bloodstream, the anti-depressants just help you become more chemically balanced.

Research has shown that medication is not a key at all. Once you stop taking pills you will again come back to your sufferings.
If you REALLY want to get read of depression, no one but ONLY YOU have to work upon it, don’t be needy of somebody or something.

My English isn’t perfect but I’ll do my best to tell you how I got out of it. I’d been struggling with serious depression from January till about June this year. I reckon I am healthy now, but deliberate myself depression prone and going to pay attention to my life style for the rest of my life.
My answer to your question is make your life as positive as possible and give yourself 6 months to feel better.
    1. Watch positive movies, TV programs and laugh a lot. Avoid TV news and newspapers – they are depressing. Avoid thrillers, dramas, horror movies etc. In general avoid anything negative.
    2. Read positive, inspiring books.
    3. Listen to joyful composition.
    4. Regularly exercise.
    5. Avoid venomous public, even if they are members of your family. / Spend time with positive, uplifting public.
    6. Meet friends on fixed basis.
    7. Make a list of your life achievements, and focus on it every morning and evening.
    8. Every night, before going to sleep make a list of excellent things that happened to you that day. Be grateful for them.
    9. Meditate every day.
    10. Sleep well, and try to go to bed always at the same tiime.
    11. Every day give yourself time to spend with things you like to do.
    12. Bless your enemies.
    13. Make your home a peaceful place. You should always feel “at home” when you’re at home.
    14. Yes, have a healthy diet.

I’d also urge the subsequent books:
    1. Making Optimism – Bob Murray & Alicia Fortinberry
    2. Change Your intellect, Change Your Life – Daniel G. Amen
    3. The 4:8 Principle – Tommy Newberry

    Hang in there!
